PROJECT BRIEF

While creating this fragrance, I was first intrigued by one of the oldest known citruses, the ‘pomelo’ (or citrus maxima). Its irregular-shaped fruits, grown under luscious sunlight, release a uniquely sensual perfume. Then, a walk in the old town of Mykonos, where majestic trees grow almost secluded, provided final inspiration. A wise balance of the most precious Hesperides mimics this unique fruit, while hints of pink pepper smooth and reinvigorate its presence with delicate spicy notes. At the heart, a generous amount of Neroli provides a rich synergy, evolving into more floral notes and complementing the geranium to reveal a crisp yet mellow texture. At the bottom, a profusion of Vetivert gives depth and distinct mineral notes, while Ambroxan adds elegance and firmness to an already refined fragrance. Finally, the incense brings mystery, just as the lands that inspired me. Cristiano Canali, perfumer.

CONCEPT EXPLORATION

When we’re in love, we all blend in a symphony of notes and colours. We search and find, we chase and choose, mirroring our soul in someone’s eyes until we get that immediate sense of belonging. We’re all in this together, under a Soleil Grec. Its ingredients grow under a luscious light, the same blinding haze that nourishes citrus fruits and blossoms comes here as a crisp and mellow perfume where Pomelo, Hesperides, Neroli, Ambroxan and Incense slowly reveal themselves. A fragrance that’s as intense as the sun that inspired it.
